Mapping out my life…

My life and mission statement: God deserves to receive glory from this life He has loaned to me. He made me for a purpose, and I want to be used for the purpose. If God lets me, I want to be part of something that makes a huge difference in people’s lives. I want to inspire those who are coming after me and encourage those in leadership roles. I love big things, but recognize that the small investments can make the most significant impact. I want to live a life that my kids look at and think “Wow. Dad loves Jesus and loves people. And I want to be like Dad.” I don’t have to be in charge. I don’t have to be recognized. I don’t have to be the focal point. I just want to help. I’ve been given so many amazing experiences: sound Biblical philosophy of ministry, premiere leadership training in the US Air Force and other stellar companies, the ability to communicate individually and with the crowd, a high threshold for pressure, a creative eye, a sincere enjoyment of networking and relationship building, experience in people and project administration, almost two decades of international and multicultural service, and the support of a fantastic wife and family. For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen. (Romans 11:36)

But Daniel resolved that he would not defile himself ... And God gave Daniel favor and compassion in the sight of the chief of the eunuchs, (Daniel 1:8-9)

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.(James 1:5)

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28)

Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love. (1 Corinthians 16:13-14)

Thus Joseph… also called by the apostles Barnabas (which means son of encouragement), (Acts 4:36)

By God’s grace I want to live this mission. Jared Baldwin
